The Community Wellness & Prevention Program
The Community Wellness & Prevention Program (CWPP) of Contra Costa Health Services aims to improve the environmental, social and economic conditions that contribute to poor health, and support a quality of life that promotes the health and well-being of all county residents, with special attention to those under served.
We frame our work around the National Prevention Strategy for Health and the California Wellness Plan. In addition we use the Spectrum of Prevention as a general guide to our work.
